Know that you will be where some will never venture to as the typical holiday of choice. This is what makes Yahnny Bly & Co. special. You will see, feel, taste, and do what a truly adventurous spirit desires and seeks to unfurl. For this reason, we like to keep our groups small with 10 people or less to encourage connectivity, meaningful conversations, and genuine interaction with each other and the locals as you find yourself traversing distant mountains, canyoning through deep ravines, photographing the thunderous rush of a horse stampede, indulging in local cuisine, and being enveloped by ancient music filling the air. Join us in 2019 as we experience a world full of wonder and curiosities.

Love of photography, nature, food, culture, and adventure are why you should join this exclusive group. Don’t worry if you are not an expert! We will assist you along the way. We want you to enjoy the full experience of learning the skills needed to become a better photographer while having a chance to be part of a rare photographic, cultural, and gastronomic experience.
Kayseri Wild Yilki Horses freely roam on the mountains of Turkey’s Anatolia region; most which have continued to reproduce even after being abandoned by farmers. The name “yilki” is derived from the Turkish term meaning “left of the wild” once industrialization had eliminated the need for them. The Yilki are currently looked after by local villagers and “Turkish cowboys” who assist us with gathering the horses for our purposes.
We anticipate that this will be a different type of tour for most of you which is part of the excitement along with the possibility of making new friends and learning valuable photography skills that will enhance your overall experience.
We are also offering a Fall option for September 23 thru 27.

The Carpathian Mountains are home to one of the largest protected and undisturbed forests in Europe with a unique variety of landscapes, vegetation, and wildlife. Grasslands, gorges, subterranean caves, volcanic lakes, and an extensive river network add to the richness that also includes the Danube Delta, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, and Europe’s largest wetland. At times, you can find yourself alone for hours before seeing another living soul. This is yours. This is the time to be in nature and to experience the best places for trail running and mountain biking. Romania is an understated gem with its stunning cultural contrasts of Latin and Balkan influences. Its landscape also has a rich contrast of rugged stone churches and dazzling monasteries; rocky mountains and rolling hills; Ottoman and Byzantine flavored towns juxtaposed with contemporary post-communist cities. The people are kind, generous, curious, hardworking, and most of all, hospitable. We will be traveling with one of the best outdoor guides in Romania who has led many groups through Transylvania for over 15 years with both trail running and mountain biking excursions of various levels from beginner to advanced. His team of guides will make sure that you will end up enjoying more than worrying about your fitness level. Journey with us into one of our favorite mountain trips to experience Europe’s most coveted natural parks.
